What CarsSound does with your location
The engine sound follows your speed, which the browser works out from your location. Your location is processed only inside your browser to calculate speed. It is never sent to us, stored, or shared.
What is stored on your device
Your settings (chosen car, volume, units, sort order) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. You can clear them any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Anonymous usage statistics
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to count anonymous usage: how many visits, which cars are chosen, how long the engine runs, the type of device and browser, and how often GPS updates. This contains no name, contact details or location. If you decline, statistics are sent without cookies or identifiers. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data.
Advertising
A small ad may appear under the car list while you are parked. It is hidden while you drive. Ads are provided by Google, which may use cookies according to Google's advertising policies. We request non-personalized ads unless you allow otherwise.
Safety
Use CarsSound only while parked to set it up, keep the volume at a level where you can hear traffic and emergency vehicles, and keep your eyes on the road.
